Tata Bolt to Empower its GPS System Provided by MapMyIndia
Tata Bolt by domestic car maker is one of the highly awaited hatchbacks in Indian car market since its showcase during the Indian Auto Expo 2014. Moreover after successful debut by compact sedan Zest in Indian car market, car enthusiasts have high expectations from this hatchback. Now after long gap interesting news has come out that is associated with Tata Bolt. It is reported that domestic car maker has joined hands with MapmyIndia to boost its GPS navigation system in Bolt.
The hatchback is expected to make its debut in Indian car market in the early months of next year and would be offered in both petrol and diesel trims. The petrol version would be empowered with 1.2 litre Revotron turbo charged engine boosting the power of 84 bhp and torque of 140 Nm at 5000 rpm and 1750-3500 rpm respectively. The diesel version would be offered with 1.3 litre Quadrajet diesen engine generating the power of 73 bhp and torque of 190Nm. Both the engines would be offered with five speed manual transmission system.
The navigation system offered by MapMyIndia for Bolt is coded to facilitate smooth integration between phone and in-dash screen. In the words of Mr. Rakesh Verma, Managing Director, MayMyIndia, since its inception the main objective of their group has been to offer the best GPS navigation system to car enthusiasts in Indian car market. Their union with domestic car maker would facilitate their group to get attached with huge number of Tata owners across the country. Apart from Tata Motors the group has also offered GPS navigation system to other car manufacturers namely MSIL, HMIL and Mahindra and Mahindra.
