Tata emerged as the chief auto manufacturer in UK
The Indian multinational automotive corporation; Tata Motors Limited, is the name which has not only achieved enormous success in the country, but has also made India proud on the global platform. And now they are the leading manufacturers in Britain with the strength of 40,000 employees in the country. It all started with the acquiring of UK based Tea company Tetley Tea and chemical company Brunner Mond, after that it was the deal with multinational steel maker Corus that made news. The most noteworthy buying for the company has been Jaguar and Land Rover deal, with it the Tata Motors went ahead and became the peak manufacturer in the United Kingdom.
Foreign companies like multinational of China; Huawei, Russian giant Rosneft and Embraer of Brazil have earned big name in the industry. This new generation of passionate and young multinationals has been posing threats to most of the well-known companies in Britain. The United Kingdom has always been open to partnerships and conquests and is also termed business friendly.
The debacle of Ford in 2008 has now turned out to be the most profitable deal, which came back strongly under the direction of the current number auto manufacturer in UK; Tata Motors. The promising sale of JLR has insisted the company to bring back the thrilling automobiles like the Range Rover Evoque. This proves that the top multinational companies not only have resources, but also the proficiency to stand firm in the trailing market circumstances and end up on the winning side.
