The subcompact Tata Indica and Manza’s hatchback variant have registered a remarkable appearance in the event. The brand new Tata Manza is also available in two engine options: a 1.4 liter, four cylinder petrol engine and a 1.3 liter, four cylinder diesel engine. The mileage and fuel efficiency is pretty impressive. This eco-friendly electric car has zero-emission.
Beside the appealing compact design, it has got ample passenger & boot space. It proves to be strong competitor of compact sedans: Mahindra Verito Electric and Maruti Dzire. Presently, the Electric hybrid cars have only 2 to 3% market share in Indian automotive industry, which is expected to grow upto 5% in the next five years.
The increasing fuel price, interest rate and inflation will change the market trends and buyer’s preferences in the next few years. It will bring the bright future for the innovative electric hybrid cars, stated by the auto experts. Though, the shortage of the power station, trained electricians and spare parts are the major concerning issues to solve.
