Tata Motors extends its boundaries to Philippines
After enjoying huge success in domestic car market and also in various International market, domestic car making company Tata Motors is extending its roots in markets where it finds huge growth potential. As an impact of this expansion strategy after establishing its roots in various Asian countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar company is now exploring its market to Philippines. According to sources of company it will be exporting Manza, Vista, Indigo and Indica to Philippines market followed by export of Xenon and Ace vehicles for commercial purpose.
In the words of Mr. Johnny Oommen, Head, International Business passenger vehicles company is over whelmed on decision of its entry in new market. According to Mr. Oommen, in the beginning company will start its operation with Manza sedan, Vista hatch, Indigo sedan and Indica. After going through response of customers company will further start adding products in its line-up for Philippines market. He also added that company is confident about its distribution channel in Philippines market and with its vast network it will succeeded in marking its Philippines. Mr. Oommen hoped that their products will succeed in attracting buyers and will strengthen roots of company also in Philippines.
Industry experts believe that decision of exploring market in International market could be a beneficial deal for Tata Motors especially in scenario when its domestic sales are regularly declining. However it is expected that launch of Bolt and Zest will help company in strengthening its position in Indian car market.
