The all new Tata Nano CNG has charmed the Indian crowd with its charismatic aura, being showcased in 2012 Auto Expo at Pragati Madain, New Delhi.  The India’s most economical car, Tata Nano has achieved more than 27% of market share with the total sales of 2, 56, 202 units in previous year. Bajaj which too brought its ULC at the expo failed to impress with its looks, which again benefitted Tata Nano.

Stepping ahead, Tata has brought its CNG variant, which is expected to gain a massive positive response. This fresh version has takeover the loopholes of its predecessor to bring a rejuvenating driving pleasure. Now, company is more précised to produce fuel efficient and better mileage cars that evidently reflects in Tata Nano CNG.

Apart from that a diesel powered Tata Nano was also expected that did not come to the mega event this time. The world’s smallest Bosch Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDi) system will be the power secret behind the overall performance of the Nano Diesel. This two-cylinder turbo engine is coupled with 4 speed manual transmission, developed in a joint venture of Honeywell, Bosh, AVL, FEV and Ricardo. It will churn-out a peak power of 35bhp and torque of 110Nm.

The Tata Nano Diesel offers a surprising top speed of 90 km/hrs. The power steering with anti-roll bars enhances the handling and performance of the car. A powerful suspension system is also available. Though, there is nothing more creative with its design except few changes.
