Small car Tata Nano has something big plans globally. Tata has also planned it not to be restricted to its homeland and take world over excursion. Though the car has been able to impress only 8k or so Indians monthly, people in other countries are getting crazy for this small wonder car. Jay Leno, America TV host and an ardent fan of cars has lately added Nano to its more than exceptional collection of cars and bikes. Recently, Jay has expressed his opinion on the Nano and he considers it to be a ‘great city car’ that reminds of India. Jay was also fascinated with the price of the car as he bought it for only $2700. Though he may not be able to drive it on road, but he can satisfy is crush on Nano by looking at it in its Jay Leno Garage.

Meanwhile, in India, the whole market is keeping its fingers crossed and is in nail-biting anticipation for the diesel avatar of the Nano. Hoped to be launched sometime from now, Nano Diesel is expected to do to the industry what the Maruti 800 (or the new Maruti 800 that could also arrive nearby) did. Another important factor is that since the Nano is so affordably priced, its diesel avatar could drag down the entry level diesel car price to under Rs 3 lakh which will be miracle. Also Nano has no rivals and in a rival free state, the car is expected to enjoy sole domination until some highly low cost car comes from Nissan Dacia fleet or Chevrolet Sail stable.

In addition to this, the left hand drive Tata Nano is also making news as Tata has aggressive plans to export the small car to LHD countries. The series of spotting the LHD Nano have increased in the recent past and along with it has increased the prospects of the car for a success globally if not in India.
