Tata Safari Storme facelift: More secrets leaked
As reported earlier domestic car maker Tata Motors is all set to bring the facelift Safari Storme anytime during this month, spies have succeeded in getting clues of the interiors that would be offered in refreshed version of this SUV. According to latest reports received from spies the interiors of Tata Safar Storme 2015 will bestow new steering wheel with music controls mounted on it, silver accents on central console, new music system that will support connectivity with Aux, USB and iPod, new gear shift knob pattern of R-1-2-3-4-5.
As far as changes under bonnet are concerned there would be not any major change except the improved power figures of 160 PS and 400 Nm delivered by same 2.2 litre four cylinder VariCOR diesel engine. Earlier the same engine developed the power of 138 bhp. Engine would be coated with six speed gearbox and is expected to priced between Rs. 10 lakh to 13 lakh. After launch it will compete against upgraded versions of Renault Duster and Mahindra Scorpio. On the exteriors there would be subtle changes including honeycomb grille.
