Tata Motors has decided to launch Tata Safari Storme in a phased manner across the country. The company mesmerized the car lovers by showing the new Safari at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo held recently. The restyled body and improved interiors are the qualities which attracted the car lovers towards the Tata Safari Storme. The company has used Aria’s X2 platform for setting up its body unlike Mahindra XUV 500, which has used a monocoque body. The Storme will not replace the existing Tata Safari but is expected to giving a tough time to Mahindra Scorpio.

Tata Motors has started luring car enthusiasts towards it upcoming Tata Safari Storme by showing pictures of the car in action and jumping off crests. Also, the Tata Motors has used the platforms such as various Expos and DEFEXPO organized recently to present spin-offs of Safari. Media reports suggests that it will be in July when the car dealers will receive the Tata Safari Storme. Also, the Tata Motors has decided to continue its current model alongside the Storme because of some capacity constraints. But, one has to pay slightly higher price for the Storme in comparison to the older Safari. In the past also, Tata Motors have sold new entrants like Vista and Manza with increased prices comparing it with their predecessors. So, it is most likely the Storme would be made available in the market in higher prices than its older Safari.

Besides, the industry sources said that Tata Motors does not want to affect the sale of Aria by the launch of Tata Safari Storme. The Tata Motors will not provide every feature in the Storme. The Storme will hit the showrooms soon but sans high-end features like LCD display with navigation and steering-mounted controls for phone control. The sources also claimed that it will be Aria which will remain its flagship model and Tata Motors will continue the sale of older Safari in the coming days.
