Tata Sumo Gold launched, priced at Rs 5.23 Lakhs
Tata Motors; one of the largest automotive corporations in India, has launched the renovated version of Tata Sumo named as Tata Sumo Gold on 10th November that is Thursday in Pune. Tata Sumo; which is company’s most successful Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) in the Indian utility segment, with this launch has received its sixth upgrade since its initial launch in 1994. The heavy duty vehicle Tata Sumo Gold falls in the price bracket of INR 5.23 Lakhs to INR 6.74 Lakhs, Ex Showroom Pune.
The vehicle is offered in four versions with each available in two editions namely Bharat Stage III (BS III) and Bharat Stage IV (BS IV) emission norms compliant. A healthy fuel efficiency of 14 km per litre is validated by the ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) for Tata Sumo’s new Gold variant.
The utility vehicle comes with a warranty of 1, 00,000 kilometers or 3 years and is introduced in four trims namely GX, EX, LX and CX.
The Gold model showcases some similarity between its predecessor; Tata Sumo Victa, when it comes to the appearance. The headlamps are renewed with crystal clear lens along with revived tail lamp cluster and fog lamps.
Last month arch rival Mahindra & Mahindra had launched refreshed version of its best selling SUV Bolero and this is termed as Tata’s answer to its competitor.
The main features of Tata Sumo Gold are that it is powered by 3.0L CR4 engine which commands the Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) and utility pick-ups in domestic market. And with this sort of engine it is bound to offer swift transmission. As per the company it has small turning radius of around 4.9 meters along with super-quality soft suspension to ensure the pleasure best in class ride.
