The next generation Mahindra Bolero caught under lenses again
The Mahindra’s new generation Bolero codenamed U301 has been again witnessed being tested recently on Chennai roads. Prior to this also the SUV has been caught tested camouflaged on Indian roads. It is speculated that upcoming version will receive unique upgrades in the terms of quality and performance similar to newly launched Scorpio. The SUV is likely to reach the showrooms by the end of 2015 and offered in more than 15 variants and the range of the price would be Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh. If we come to the look and style, it would have a athelete shaped body having a larger screen infotainment system, a rectangular AC vents, a central console and three-spoke steering wheel. The new Bolero embellishes a hydroframed ladder frame chassis. Apart from these features it is speculated to bestow features like electronic brake force distribution system, ABS, electronic stability programme, four airbags and many more.
The Mahindra is building up seven new engines portofolio to give boost the power offered by New Bolero . It includes 1.2 litre, 1.5 litre and 1.6 litre diesel engine followed by 1.0, 1.2 litre, 1.5 litre, 1.6 litre petrol engines. It is also being expected that the upcoming SUV S101 will also have the same engine configurations.The Bolero has a rugged image and it is a leader in its groups that include Tata Sumo, Tata Movus and Chevrolet Tavera. On the basis of the various authentic sources, the New Bolero will be a belligerent and that would enthusiast the car makers.
