Unfortunately, Volvo India is not doing well in the Indian souk. The Swedish company is left with only a few customers while the 3 German companies have grown in the car segment. The calm roll of the Volvo S60 is still with us as we took its test drive.

The reason for losing to the German car segment may be their management approach towards the market. They deliver their vehicles with same technicalities and engines, but they minus the luxurious features. This leads to cost cutting. This is a quantity competition where statistics are vital.
