Now with the affordable Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback, Toyota is planning to cater its product line-up to the rural and semi-urban areas in the domestic market. To carry forward with this initiative, the car maker has planned to open more outlets and service centers in the rural and semi-urban areas. The other reason for switching to the semi-urban and rural areas is the decent sales stats of Toyota’s entry level cars, i.e. the Etios & the Etios Liva hatchback. In last couple of months, the sales figures of both Etios sedan and Liva hatchback been commendable, therefore the company expects that there is ample of scope of increasing sales in these areas. Furthermore, both the Etios & the Liva hatchback fall in a nominal price tag range than can surly insist the buyers to purchase them. In addition, availability of Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback in both petrol and diesel engine options can also prove to be a boon for the car maker in these areas.
