However, the company is yet to officially announce the timeline of launch and other details related to this launch. Earlier, the Etios model was expected to be launched in Brazil in the second half of current year, but now it has been postponed to early next year. The company has already showcased both hatchback and sedan versions of the Etios series of models in the country, both of which have been receiving an overwhelming response from the car enthusiasts and visitors in that market.

The car is reportedly continuously being tested on the Brazilian roads, as the company will be upgrading / modifying the Etios sedan as per the needs and requirements of the Brazilian buyers. In past few months, the Toyota Etios model has been spotted a number of times without any camouflaging while testing on Sao Paulo roads.
