Toyota to recall 242000 vehicles worldwide
Toyota Motor Corporation Japan is going to recall about 242,000 vehicles worldwide, including the global hybrid sedan Toyota Prius. The company is recalling all these Toyota cars due to a brake glitch. The recall will be worldwide and it could commence within a few weeks. On the other hand, Toyota Bharat has already recalled the Toyota Corolla Altis diesel in India to repair or replace the aberrations on the left or right side of the driveshaft.
In the month of May this year, world's popular car makers like Nissan and Renault have also recalled their many of vehicles. Nissan Motors India has recalled the 22,188 units of Micra hatchback and Nissan Sunny sedan due to faulty in master brake cylinder. Meanwhile, for the same problem, Renault India has also recalled the 2836 units of the Renault Pulse hatchback and 4180 units of the Scala sedan in India.
At present, Toyota is aiming to spoor market share in emerging markets across the world. And it is ready to throw many of new Toyota cars models. The company is all set to launch eight new cars from various segments in India and Brazil. In Indian auto market the company has plans about the launch of a compact SUV that will be giving a rigid competition to Mahindra Quanto, Renault Duster, Ford Ecosport and Maruti XA Alpha. After that, a hybrid version of popular compact sedan Etios would also be made available.
