Toyota used cars in Kenya, Toyota U Trust gaining momentum in India
Japanese car maker Toyota will be selling pre-owned cars Toyota cars in Kenya. In a recent move, Toyota Tsusho subsidiary reportedly made an announcement that it will be selling second hand cars. With this now Toyota subsidiary will be selling Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Camry, Toyota Land Cruiser PRADO, Toyota Avanza and other Toyota used cars in Kenya. This move is expected to oust many local players as the big wig Toyota has plunged into this business. As per reports, Toyota Tsusho has opened up a second hand car showroom in Nairobi. Notably, Toyota cars especially Toyota small trucks are quite popular in Kenya and there is high demand for Toyota cars. The Toyota subsidiary will be selling Hino, Toyota, Subaru, and Daihatsu brands at the outlet.
Toyota is also into used car business in India with the name Toyota U Trust and it has its dealerships in over 14 destinations in India. It facilitates sales, purchase & exchange of Toyota and other brand cars such as Maruti, Hyundai, and Tata etc. With the advent of Toyota and similar other big brands in the country in the used car business, the segment has become more organized and people’s trust in used cars have risen with time. In India, Toyota U Trust has earned considerable respect and faith and those who wish to buy used Toyota cars look to it instead of going to some local used car dealer.
In Kenya, the Toyota used car dealership will be selling Toyota and other brand cars. As per the reports, the subsidiary will be directly importing Toyota used cars from Japan dealers and will be selling those in Kenya. It is expected that the Toyotsu Auto as a subsidiary of Toyota will have an upper hand in getting quality Toyota used cars directly from Japan and thus it will be sweeping the used car market in Nairobi and other states.
