Voyage Edition of Renault Pulse launched by Renault India
Renault India, the Indian division of French auto making company Renault has launched special edition of its hatchback car Pulse in Indian car market codenamed as Voyage Edition. According to reports the new Pulse Voyage Edition is based on Nissan Micra which is product of Renault’s alliance Nissan Motors. The basic objective behind the introduction of Voyage Edition is to enhance the sales of Renault Pulse in Indian car market, which despite of being costly has not succeeded in delivering expected results to the manufacturers. The special Voyage Edition has been launched only in diesel variant so as to protect buyers from the burden of hiking prices of fuel. With this company also offers free insurance for two years, followed by two year extended warranty and roadside assistance for four years.
The diesel variant of Voyage Edition is blessed with 1.5 litre four cylinder engine developing the power of 63.1 bhp and torque of 160 Nm. The price of base model starts from Rs. 4.49 lakh whereas the price of top end model has been determined Rs. 6.88 lakh. With this company also offers bespoke Pulse Voyage accessory pack of Rs. 58,000. This accessory pack carries Bluetooth connectivity, iPad and reverse parking camera.
As far as additional features are concerned it would be interested to know that company has not integrated any extra features in Voyage Edition. Voyage Edition carries the same exteriors as prevailing in current model. On the interiors company has adhered touchscreen multimedia system which enhances the navigation systems. The Voyage Edition is expected to be a tough contender for Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai i20, Ford Figo and other cars in hatchback segment.
