Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 LTZ AT Variant Review

When it comes to Diesel run premium sedans the Chevrolet Cruze has been one of the most admired cars in its segment. Despite being available in only diesel version, the car is offering a tough fight to its rivals that are available in both petrol and diesel versions including the likes of Toyota Corolla Altis, Renault Fluence and Skoda Laura. The Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 LTZ AT is the highest trim of this model in the Indian market.

The Cruze LTZ AT is (as appears from its name) is an automatic transmission version of the car, which comes fully loaded with advanced features. It is one of the sportier sedans in its segment and is aimed at young professionals and sports car lovers. At the same time, the automatic variant of Cruze is also beneficial for the Woman and old persons as it saves them from driving fatigue due to hassle of rapidly changing gears in heavy city traffic.

The company has tried to keep the Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 LTZ AT price comparatively low in its segment so that it can compete more promptly with the rivals. Moreover, being the top end variant, it features more than what a buyer of this segment could have asked for. The efficient electronic Auto Transmission System of this variant makes the driving a cake walk even in heavy city traffic conditions.

The car is loaded with a 2.0 VCDI (Diesel) Engine that churns out a peak power of 166 PS at 3800 rpm along with a peak torque of 380 Nm at 2000 rpm. The performance of the car is further enhanced with advance suspension system including McPherson Strut type Suspension with coil springs and stabilizer at the front and Torsion beam axle with stabilizer and coil spring at the rear.
