Chevrolet has one of the most selling hatchbacks in the A segment christened Chevrolet Spark. The hatchback can be seen running on roads quite often, it is preferred by most of the first time buyers due to its low price. Being priced lucratively does not mean that it offers less space, Spark has a suave yet appealing exterior, the agile head lamps and the round shape tail lamps affixed at the rear of the hatchback make it look modish. Chevrolet Spark 1.0 litre LT is a popular variant that can be often seen running on roads. Chevrolet Spark 1.0 LT price is a major driving factor for the hatchback’s popularity.

Armed with a 995 cc, 1.0 litre, four cylinder petrol engine, the petrol mill generates 63 PS at 5400 and 90.3 Nm at 4200 Rpm. The engine is mated to a manual transmission and has a fuel tank capacity of 35 litres. Being a petrol engine, the hatchback still offers decent fuel efficiency, in city conditions is returns 14 kmpl while on highways it runs 18 kmpl. The hatchback sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in 14.8 seconds and attains a top speed of 146 kmph. The interiors of the hatchback are not very impressive but decent enough; it has enough space to seat five adults inside. Features like air conditioner, power steering are offered as standard in this trim. Other features like power windows (these are present both in front and rear side of the hatchback).

Cup holders are given in the front side only to keep bottles, glass etc for the convenience of the passengers sitting in the front. However, cup holders are absent in the rear side of the hatchback. Other features like remote trunk and remote fuel lid opener are also offered as standard in this trim. Alloy wheels are missing from the Chevrolet Spark 1.0 LT, while CD player is incorporated in the LT variant. Central locking is the only safety feature that is affixed on this trim; however other features like driver airbag, front passenger airbag are absent. Anti-lock brake system is another important safety feature that is missing from this trim. Chevrolet Spark is a highly selling hatchback in the A segment and it has made space in many homes in India. Not only this, but the hatchback also does not demand high maintenance which is one reason it is high in demand.
