Hyundai India has done it again and showed the Indian car market what it is capable of. The Hyundai i20 hatchback has lured one and all as soon as it was launched in the country. The car was the successor of Hyundai i10 and being the successor the features, looks, engine everything was superior and fine. The Hyundai i20 hatchback was launched in both diesel and petrol variant. As the demand for diesel engine powered cars is more in India, Hyundai made a very smart decision to launch the car in both. Hyundai i20 Diesel Sportz is the third highest variant in the diesel range of the hatchback. The car could be taken as an affordable yet stylish one. The Hyundai i20 Diesel Sportz price is reasonable and not extremely high.

Under the bonnet, this charmer comes with a 1.4 litre CRDI diesel motor that is very robust and fuel efficient. This 1396cc of diesel engine is strong enough and could without any trouble generate high power of 90PS at 4000rpm together with generating 22.4kgm of crest torque at the rate of 2750rpm. The six-speed manual gearbox unified together with this diesel engine makes the car to give out an awesome mileage of 18kmpl on the city roads and this figure is hiked to 23kmpl on the highways. Being a hatchback, the car has a great acceleration and pickup. The car catches up a top speed of 155kmph and goes from 0 to 100kmph speed mark in 14.5 seconds.

I preferred diesel as I am usually in and out of the city. I think that the price tag of this car should have been slightly lesser. The variant which I bought cost....
