Mahindra and Mahindra is a proud and prominent manufacturer of SUVs in the Indian car bazaar. Its Mahindra Bolero has been a roaring success since the time it was launched in the country. The car was launched in so many variant, the Mahindra Bolero SLE is one of the variants here, which is loaded with features, style and a power packed engine.

First the engine department, the car variant comes with m2DiCR diesel engine that is very fuel efficient and dynamic. This 2523cc of diesel engine is capable of churning out peak power of 63BHP at the rate of 3200rpm along with producing maximum torque of 195NM at the rate of 1400 to 3200rpm. This engine is BS IV complaint and is coupled with a five speed manual gearbox. The combination of the 2523cc of diesel engine and five speed manual transmission allows the car to give out an impressive mileage of 10.2kmpl on the city roads and 14.4kmpl of mileage on the highways. Even the acceleration and pick of the car is no less. The car picks up a top speed of 168kmph and reaches the 100kmph speed mark in 14.5seconds.

Coming to the looks, Mahindra Bolero SLE is a muscular and sporty SUV, which is truly attractive. The front of the car is very nicely done with the bold headlights and geometrical bonnet. The non body colored ORVMs, wheel caps, and lean and clean tail lights add on to the sportiness of the car. On the other hand, the interiors are very spacious and airy. The car comes with air conditioning system with heater that is very effectual in beating the extreme heat of summers in India. The power steering wheel is very smooth in functioning and helps the driver in gliding away smoothly in heavy traffic conditions. The power windows are present for both front and rear seat passengers. There is a centre armrest on the second row of seat and the remote fuel lid and boot opener are also present.

Finally the safety features in Mahindra Bolero SLE are not numerous in number, but the basic features like impressive braking system, seat belts for all, central locking system and anti-lock braking system is present. The Mahindra Bolero SLE price is decent as it misses out on many features like rear AC vents, airbags and CD player.
