Mahindra and Mahindra aren’t only known for manufacturing SUVs for the car bazaar, but with the Mahindra Verito sedan, it has marked its place in the sedan segment as well. The car was rolled out in both diesel and petrol variants and Mahindra Verito Diesel 1.5 D6 BS III is one of the diesel variant in the range. What is special about this car is that it is economical, both via price and via its fuel efficiency. Talking about the cost first, the Mahindra Verito Diesel 1.5 D6 BS III price has been kept affordable and less that would not burn a hole in consumer’s pocket.

On the other hand, the fuel efficiency of the car is good. The 1.5 litre of dCi CRDi diesel engine under the hood is quite strong and is capable of churning out maximum power of 65PS at the rate of 4000rpm along with generating maximum torque of 160Nm at the rate of 2000rpm. The five speed manual transmission helps this 1461cc of diesel engine to deliver 17kmpl of mileage on the heavy traffic roads, while on the highways; the car manages to give out an awesome mileage of 21kmpl. The engine inside the car is BS III complaint, but it performs very well on the road. The pickup and acceleration of the car is decent as it has a top speed of 146kmph and touches the 100kmph mark in 14.6seconds.

The looks of the Mahindra Verito Diesel 1.5 D6 BS III are not disappointing. The company has worked hard on the exteriors and made this one quite appealing. However, it cannot be compared to the big daddies of the industry like Volkswagen Vento, Audi A6, Mercedes Benz S Class or BMW sedans. But it has its own charm and the Mahindra DNA in the design make it look sporty and bold. The front is elegant, while the simplified geometrical figure given to the rear is quite neatly done.

The interiors of Mahindra Verito Diesel 1.5 D6 BS III are quite good for an affordable sedan. The sedan here comes with power windows (front and rear), power steering wheel, air conditioning with heater, cup holder for the front, ample of luggage storage space and CD player. Whereas, the safety features of the car are pretty inspiring and comprise of anti lock braking system, airbag for the driver and a sound brake system.
