The new Skoda Fabia Scout Diesel is a pseudo-SUV that is slightly more beefed up than a regular city car and has much more muscles than one. Skoda Fabia Scout Diesel is quite different from regular Skoda cars with off-road plastic sheets running under full length of the car. The front bumper looks sportier and to add that rugged feel it has a chrome spoiler. Skoda Fabia Scout Diesel price is bit higher than the older versions but has much more to offer considering the price gap. The same configurations are also available in the petrol variant.

Skoda Fabia Scout Diesel is powered by a 1.2L, TDI CR diesel engine. This 1199 cc engine produces a maximum power of 75 bhp at the rate of 4200 rpm and churns out a peak torque of 180 Nm at the rate of 2000 rpm. Like all others in the category it is a front wheel drive. The engine is mated to a five speed manual transmission which is a pleasure to use. Power steering is also a delight, as it has a slight under-steer at high speeds which enhances the control of the car. Vehicle’s performance is satisfactory according to its class. It has a top speed of 146 kmph and accelerating to 100 kmph takes 16.2 seconds. Economy figures are more impressive with a city mileage of 17.0 kmpl and a highway average of 21.0 kmpl.
