Renault Argentina is ready to turf-in its sporty SUV, Renault Duster to the prestigious Dakar rally. The presentation video of the Renault Duster team at Dakar Rally above seems very adventurous and interesting. The rally will begin from 5th Jan 2013 and will be continued till 30th March next year. To make Duster fit for the rally, the company has worked hard on it and made it superbly strong and sturdy.
Ability to confront the rough journey, Renault Duster has been tweaked according to the requirement. The car will be blessed with Berta V6 engine that will produce high power output of 306BHP and 442Nm of maximum torque. The SADEF six-speed sequential automatic transmission will make the car a great off-roader for the rally. Also, you can see in the video above, the Duster SUV has been graphically enhanced as well, thereby making it more sporty and athletic. Renault has given it ventilated disc brakes with 6 piston caliper up in the front and four piston units for the rear. Even the suspension has been improved. The alloy wheels will ensure a smooth and terrific journey for the Duster Team at Dakar rally.
