Renault Duster is a car that made lot of news.Same is expected of the Ford Ecosport.When can we expect the Ecosport launch in India.Also what is the news about Ford's Ecoboost engine? Is it really worth going for a petrol Ecosport?M eagrly waiting for that car.Hope they launch it by diwali.Or else will have to settle for a Duster.

Dear Ajit,

The Ford EcoSport is expected to be launched either by Diwali’ 2012 or by yearend. The innovative Ford EcoBoost powertrain is expected to provide 20% more mileage than any 1.6L petrol engine. If you are more into engine refinement and smooth driving with some peppy torque figures, and a bit less concerned about mileage you can wait for EcoSport. Else you can go for recently launched Renault Duster. But there are chances of Ford EcoSport 1.5L diesel engine making way that might create are a new niche for itself.
