Surely you can go for Mahindra XUV 500 without any second thought and as far as the braking issue is concerned, one can get the same examined by the Mahindra service center and necessary changes/replacements can be done, no big deal. This is not a permanent problem for Mahindra XUV 500 you can imagine the popularity from the fact that each time the booking orders open for XUV, they are on the increasing side. And if this would have been a manufacturing defect or a persisting aspect the company would have responded. Also to ensure max protection the brakes are coupled with aspects like ABS with EBD and Brake Assist for total control of vehicle in panic situations.

My XUV is hust 3 weeks old and folowing are the issues i have observed.

1. On the third day of the delivery the XUV left side passenger door was not unlocking. In M&M A.S.C the change the faulty circuit and its working now.

2. MY XUV has the breake issue, when half the break pandle is pressed then the brakes get applied and while breaking some wired noise comes.

3. The XUV cabine is not sound proof, all the outside noise is coming inside the cabine.

4. Today one new problem started, the left side front door power window stops working.

This are the major issues i have faced within the three weeks of the ownership. M&M should improve on quality check.
