You can buy Maruti Alto K10, it is completely safe for long drives. The all aluminium, K-10 engine is more fuel efficient as compared to Maruti's previous engine, thats the main reason why Maruti get most of its petrol cars fitted with k series engine. Maruti Alto K10, Maruti A-Star, Wagon R, Ritz, Swift and Swift Dzire comes with the aluminium k-series engine and no one is facing such problems.
