Answer for this queation

I had booked Ertiga VXi ABS on 24 Apr. On 2 Jun dealer advice to upgrade ZXi for quick delivery and was complied. On 16 Jun during my visit to dealer I was shown the booking status and was surprised to see VXi ABS was in transit and was advised I can take the delivery of VXi ABS after 25th June. Today I wanted to complete the paper work and was shocked to know that dealer wanted me to downgrade to VXi. Moreover dealer does not have any clue when VXi ABS will be delivered. Please advice.

Dear Anand,

To be straight forward, these days Maruti Ertiga is going through some real overwhelm with its huge number of bookings coming in its way, and with this rush, be it dealers or the company it is bound to face some sort of mis-management. Here, if you want to go for Maruti Ertiga VXI ABS then a bit of more ‘patience’ will be the best possible remedy in this situation. However, it’s good that you have opted for petrol version, as diesel has more than 6 months or, as per recent news, infinite waiting period. If you don’t want to wait, here is what the dealer has already offered to you.
