You can go ahead with the ski rack/ roof rack option with intent to increase luggage space. There are many good quality ski racks available in the local market you get one purchased and fitted from there. As far as summer and distance are concerned there is no need to worry as Maruti Wagon R is a test vehicle in all conditions and won’t let you down in anyway. You can utilize AC as long as you require and take break as per you convenience during the journey there no such set of instructions present.

Practically yes, there are issues heard with Wagon R while turning on the highways, especially with loaded roof-top, this is said to be because of the extra tall shape and at the same time light weight of the car. We suggest you to lower the speed of Wagon R while taking turn on the highway. Maruti Wagon R is basically an urban people mover and possesses utility capabilities on the lower side.
