The hatchback Volkswagen Polo comes with 1.2L, 1199cc 3-cylinder in-line this robust power-train is capable to generate 75 PS of maximum power at 4200 rpm, whereas it has the ability to churn out 180 Nm of peak torque at 2000 rpm. The frugal diesel engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. The mileage delivered by Volkswagen Polo is somewhat similar to Maruti Swift with 22.7 km per liter.
