My Skoda Laura – Obsessed with power & quality
Pros : Powerful, Strong, Capacious and Comfortable
Cons : Costly spare parts
The Company says that when you are in a Skoda, you are in safe hands and like the company, I do believe the same. I have confronted with one of the most threatening accidents in my life and being in my Skoda Laura I did not even got a scratch on my body. I bought the Laura Diesel Elegance two years back and the experience with it has been quite good. Now, though my Skoda Laura is an accidental car but yes it still posses the same durability and comforts since it has arrived back after the accidental service. The drive of Skoda Laura is the most efficient one. The powerful 2.0 liter diesel engine of this car cannot be compared with the any other saloon. This saloon gets sticked to the ground and avails great road grip & stability.
In addition, the Laura is the capacious car in its class and it has got well crafted interiors. Even the dash board quality is the best one and both the cabins have got premium comforts. Furthermore, the features are also the exciting one. The ABS gives the vehicle a well balanced stoppage and the parking sensors are the most helpful features that help me to park the car quite easily. On long routes, the music system with fabulous surround experience blesses me with entertaining ride.
The major drawback of buying a Skoda car is its servicing, though it is done at every 10000 kms, but it relatively costs higher than other same segment cars like Honda Civic, Chevrolet Cruze and Corolla Altis. The re-installation of airbags after accident cost me 50,000 rupees and some parts were replaced which were very expensive.
