Toyota India launched the refreshed version of its sedan car Toyota Corolla Altis in June 2011. The New Toyota Corolla Altis is available in both petrol and diesel variants. New Toyota Corolla Altis price for petrol version varies from Rs 10.53 lakh to Rs 14.77 lakh and the diesel variant price goes from Rs 11.46 lakh to Rs 14.55 lakh. The new re-touched Toyota Corolla Altis adorns the re-designed headlamp and an elegant looking new grille, delivering absolute change in exterior design. In terms of power under the hood, petrol variant of Toyota Corolla Altis is driven by the 1.8 litre petrol engine, which is increased to 1788 cc.


Yesterday I drove the diesel version of Altis, though the car is no good at exteriors from its previous versions but the inside of the car is somewhat refreshing and gave me feel of a luxurious sedan fully equipped with all the features which are typically expected from a car of this range.  Engine is powerful. Fuel economy is nice too. I gave accelerator and it responded pretty nicely. I drove it till the speedometer hit 170km/hr and I was amazed to see the tyres  grip is still strong enough and enables the car to move quickly and easily .it  really turns like water .

Car is pretty spacious on the back that makes it a comfortable ride, ample boot space is an added advantage. If you are looking for a car which gives a long term commitment with minimum expenditure on maintenance and should be easy on pocket than Toyota Corolla Altis is a car for you fully equipped and ready to take you  on unleashed!!!
