A royal sedan for royal people
Pros : Exciting looks, marvellous piece of engineering, good fuel efficiency and very easy to handle and drive
Cons : Tail lamp is still the old one and gear shifting is not that smooth
I have been driving Chevy’s Optra Magnum for the last three years and still get the same refreshing feel that I had on the very first day. It’s truly an amazing piece of engineering. Every inch is designed very carefully whether exteriors or interiors all are very carefully designed; it’s a beautiful piece of art from an adept artist. Three years spent like a fragment of a second with no worries just great and wild driving that’s it.
Exteriors are simply hilarious and attracts on the very first glance. Headlights are very beautiful but tail lights are still the same. Tyres are broad and grip the road firmly and allow taking sharp turns easily. Suspension is great and keeps me comfortable even on the worst roads. Clearly Chevy has done good market research and compiled the requirements of all in a single soul very dexterously. Mileage is good and is close to 10 with a/c in city traffic conditions. After sales service of Chevrolet is good enough however the number of service centers is still less but company is stretching its service centre base and soon it will be a matter of no concern.
Interiors are very spacious and comfortable. Seats are soft and fluffy that sometimes I feel like sleepy over long distances. Legroom in both the rows is spacious and car is fully equipped to accommodate 5 peoples with the luxury of a 5 star hotel. Instrument cluster, meters and gear stick all are embedded very beautifully and makes a person feel like seating in a jet plane.
Overall Chevrolet Optra provides a wow feeling and is a best in class vehicle clearly leading the 8 to 12 lac segment.
