Maruti Alto 800 is out in petrol and CNG variants while Chevrolet Spark in petrol and LPG. The LPG version of Chevrolet is very much different from that of Maruti Alto 800. Chevrolet Spark 1.0 LT LPG is higher in price as compared to Maruti Alto 800. It reaches up to 4 Lakhs whereas Alto is limited up to 2 lakh.
Talking about Chevrolet Spark 1.0 LT LPG, it is assisted by 995cc 1.0L, 4 cylinder, 8V SOCH MPFI exhibiting the peak power of 60 PS @ 5400 rpm and the peak torque of 88.4 Nm @ 4200 rpm run by LPG fuel. This is capable of producing the mileage of 10.5 kmpl on city roads and 13.2 kmpl on highways. With the pickup of 16.2 secs it can reach up to 133 kmph. Coming to Maruti Alto 800, it houses F8D, 3 cylinder petrol engine which exhibits the power of 48 PS @ 6000 rpm and the peak torque of 69 Nm @ 3500 rpm. It can produce the fuel economy of 17.5 kmpl on city roads and 22.74 kmpl on highways and has the pickup of 18 secs. It is very much stylish from outside and equally comfortable from inside.
