Pros : Interior, Features and Front looks

Cons : Mileage, Inefficient transmission response, Unusual grip and Pick up

For those who think that Ford is an epitome of building powerful and efficient cars, I am sharing my experience. I bought Ford Fiesta Diesel Titanium Plus in beginning of the year thinking that it will be a good option in its class, but things were not up to the mark. First of all, let me tell you some good points of this car then I will start with its reality. The Fiesta has got capacious interior compared to the cars like Toyota Etios and Maruti Swift Dzire. Infact, the upholstery mating from inside is appreciable. Moreover, features available in my top end Titanium Plus variant are good. Other appreciable fact of this car is its front fluidic design. However, the rear design is very poor and tails lamps look tiny against the broad rear boot.
 
The major problems occur while you drive this car. First of all, the 5 speed automatic transmission of Ford Fiesta Diesel is very poor. While shuffling it for higher transmission level, the inefficient transmission response can be easily experienced. In addition, while on highways the vehicle becomes instable after you cross speed mark of 110 km/h. Also the pick-up of the car is very poor.
 
The major reason for purchasing the diesel Fiesta was the mileage, but it has been up to the mark in terms of mileage. I was been informed that the mileage of this car would be somewhere around 19 – 21 kmpl on highways, but it is giving mileage of just 17 – 18 kmpl, which even a petrol Etios can deliver.
 
In the end, I would say that think twice before purchasing Fiesta Diesel.

Mileage is not so impressive as my uncle is also having the same model and they are not satisfied with the mileage. The features are excellent.
