I am one among the passionate fan following of Hyundai’s much awaited Eon. From the very first day when Hyundai announced their plan of launching a car in the country’s hottest segment, I put my plans of buying a new car on hold and was waiting eagerly to see it first and it seems that my patience is paid well and is much better than what I expected in a very phenomenal price. My wife and kids also likes it a lot.
Exteriors are wonderfully designed. Headlights reminds me of i-10 and its styling lies somewhere between i-10 and new Verna. Front portion looks awesome but the intensity decreases as we move to rear side which is not bad but is just fine to support the overall styling of the vehicle. Price band of 2.5 to 4 lakhs with top end model equipped with safety features like air bags makes it a best pick in this segment. After Verna’s success company is keen on etching a marvelous impression in the world’s biggest small car market. I really admire their market research techniques and they adapted themselves well with the changing market scenarios.
Car looks spacious from inside and is made to seat 5 passengers comfortably. As per company, it will give mileage of close to 18km in city which is great. It’s a complete package for those who like styling, comfort, space and ease at driving. No doubt Hyundai success is deep rooted and with big hits like i-10, Verna and Eon, they are posing a serous threat to Maruti, Tata and Chevrolet and now the time has come for them to come up with something interesting.
