I would like to share my views on owning a Mahindra Verito diesel 1.5 liter. I had bought this sedan around five months back with its ex-showroom price of Rs 5.75 lakh. When the vehicle was introduced, I read the expert review and consulted a few automobile experts to get their views on the first Mahindra sedan. I was told that this is a very good car with great comfort level and performance. I walked down to my nearest Mahindra dealer and got the Verito diesel 1.5 D2 BSIII car.

Believe me, it has been a phenomenal ride till now not only on highways but also on busy streets of city. There are many commendable features in this three box car from the local auto maker but three of the lots are the ones I liked the most. First it is the fabulous space and comfort of the Verito cabin, second is its exceptional power churning capabilities and frugal engine. And the last one is the superb mileage of Verito which is around 15 kmpl in city with AC on and around 24 on highways which makes it the ideal vehicle in such a low price range of Rs 5-6 lakh.

Compared to Maruti Swift Dzire which also I had in mind before buying Verito, Mahindra sedan has got more space and probably the biggest boot space in its category. However, for minor issues I went to company’s showroom but the response from them was not at all satisfactory. First of all you need to wait for someone to get to you and when they come to know that the person has come for maintenance kind of work; they start ignoring and get busy in their work to cater new customers dropping at their shop. Apart from Mahindra service there is nothing in the Verito that needs to be corrected.

It’s the perfect car for people looking to have fuel efficient car with good looks, comfort and power. Don’t hesitate just go for it.
