Maruti Swift: Fully sporty car
Pros : Good Mileage, incredible interior & exterior, powerful engine, low Maintenance
Cons : diesel variant is bit costly and leg room in the rear seat
Hi friends, my Maruti Swift LDi is one year old today and with the celebration of its first birthday, I want to share my experience with all you crazy Swift fans. Swift is a hatchback segment vehicle with an entirely sporty aerodynamics. In addition, it is also a fully loaded machine with lot of exciting features. While we drive this small wonder, we too get sporty with its great comforts and drivability. My diesel Swift is boosted by a powerful diesel engine of 1248 cc that produces sufficient power to entire vehicle and allows it to run on all the condition like an SUV. Mostly often in diesel vehicles we see that the engine performance and acceleration power declines when we switch on the AC, but if we talk about the Swift, I must say there is no problem it even when the AC is turned on full speed. The cost of maintenance and spare parts of Maruti Swift are quite cheaper in comparison to the rivals like Polo, i20 and Fabia.
As far as its drawbacks are concerned, I would say that the rear seat leg-room is bit stiff for a six feet tall passenger. If you are on a long tour, the rear seat becomes a troublesome for three passengers. And another setback is the price of diesel variants of this car. The other diesel vehicles like Ford Figo and Tata Indica Vista have relatively cheaper price than diesel Swift, hence the cost should have been reduced. However, yes the service back up of Maruti brand is the strongest one and resale value of Swift is the best in class.
Overall, I would like to sum up saying that there is no comparison of Swift in terms of reliability and I would recommend it to all those who are looking to buy a diesel car that too with a reliable brand.
