More swift my Dzire
Pros : better styling
Cons : shorter length
Maruti Swift Dzire is the sedan version of Maruti Swift hatchback. It was launched after the success of Maruti Swift in India, and it repeated the success story of its hatchback sibling. People love this car, and the craze has not ever gone down. Now, Maruti has launched the second generation Maruti Swift Dzire. This launch was highly anticipated by the auto market, and it has lived to its expectations. The booking figures are increasing day by day, as people are trying to get their hands on a Maruti Swift Dzire. I booked my car (Maruti Swift Dzire VDI) some days ago, and now I await the delivery of the same.
Maruti Swift Dzire is a nice looking sedan with nice features on the inside and ride quality of the great Maruti Swift. It is available in both Petrol and Diesel variants. Petrol version has four variants- Maruti Swift Dzire LXI, VXI, ZXI and VXI Automatic. The Diesel version has three variants- Maruti Swift Dzire LDI, VDI and ZDI.
The Petrol version is powered by a 1197cc engine which generates maximum of 87ps power and 114nm torque. The mileage it returns is around 15kms per liter in city conditions and 19kms per liter on highways. The petrol variants are priced between Rs. 4.80-6.55 Lakh.
The Diesel version is powered by a 1248cc DDiS Diesel engine which can generate maximum of 75ps power and 190nm torque. The Diesel version of Maruti Swift Dzire returns a slightly better mileage of 18kms per liter in city conditions and 23kms per liter on highways. The Diesel variants are priced in the range of Rs. 5.81-7.10 Lakhs.
The new Maruti Swift Dzire is certainly better looking than the previous version, though slightly shorter in length. The interiors have also changed and the overall feel has improved. This is surely a great launch from Maruti Suzuki.
