Review For Maruti Swift Dzire VDI

Pros : Great features, decent mileage and stunning looks

Cons : Engine not so powerful and pick up not satisfactory

Hii! This is Amit writing from Pune. Last year I am a software engineer by profession and living here since last two years. Last year I got married and got the Maruti Swift VDI as my wedding gift. The car is good at tomes, too good at other and slightly unsatisfactory at the rest of the times. I can’t call it completely a perfect or a bad car. It’s a mixed bag.
 
Talking about the positive aspects first the car has a stunning look. The very first day I drove this car to office I felt like a proud owner of this elegantly designed hatch. Bothe the exterior and the interior of the car are just beautiful. The car has got a very young and sporty outer body and the interior is also very trendy with a beautiful dashboard, excellent AC which gives you a pleasant cooling, powerful stereo which is a treat to the music lovers and the comfortable seats and also the spacious front and rear of the car. The car gives a huge headroom and legroom and also the car is sufficiently spacious to keep the luggage when you are out on a journey. Another good thing about the car which is also my favourite is that the car gives an excellent mileage which is far more than expected and is pleasantly fuel efficient.
 
So much good about the car it also carries some cons. The car gives a very poor pick up and the engine of the car is not at all powerful you realise about the power of the engine especially when you are on a highway on travelling a long distance. And as I am very familiar to highways due to my corporate meetings held in different cities the poor pick-up and weak engine of the car come as a very big disappointment to me.

Maruti Swift Dzire no doubt is best in offering excellent mileage. The engine power is not so good according to the expectations but it is quite good in all other fields. The cons can be easily overcome with its pros.

I took my swift Dzire 2012 new model VDI last month (july, 2012). It is excellent I will recomend I feel very happy proud about my car it is jewel for me and our family members.

Hi, This MJD 1.3 CRDI engine works very well as designed. Try to keep rpm between 2k to 3k mark and then feel the power that same engine generates. thanks.
