Nissan Evalia is a spacious MPV
Pros : Spacious, presence of diesel engine, high fuel economy
Cons : Too early to comment on that
I was waiting for the launch of Nissan Evalia which has been launched today finally I am happy with the price of the MPV, and more than that the features offered in the basic version of the MPV are amazing. I currently have a Honda City (old model) which I have been looking forward to change for a long time now, I think but I will wait for a while as Diwali will come in the month of November a lot many new cars will be launched in India. Apart from the launch of new cars in the Indian car market, car makers will also roll out lucrative offers and freebies on the vehicles which might save me few bucks then I guess it is worth waiting.
Though Evalia is a good option, I do not want to go for a sedan this time as it does not offer a huge space as a SUV or a MPV does and moreover at almost same price I can get a MPV like Evalia then it would be a foolish thing to go for a sedan. Nissan Evalia XE has a 1.5 litre K9K diesel engine with 86 Ps and 200 Nm, the best part is that it is launched only in diesel guise as petrol variants are not even in demand. The spacious interiors and boot space are the highlight of the MPV, features like power windows in both front and rear, electric wing mirrors, multi information display are offered on the basic trim, however the high end model has additional features like fog lamps, intelligent key, reverse camera, multi-colored display apart from the features offered in XL model. I am thinking to take a test drive of the MPV and also visit the showroom to know more about each variant. I am impressed with the new MPV and I hope that it lives up to my high expectations.
