Toyota Etios Liva – would have been better inside!
Pros : Stylish-looks bigger, powerful engine, Price
Cons : Poor accessories, unappealing interiors
What goes against Toyota Etios Liva VX is that it is offered at a very affordable price. Toyota is a renowned brand name and in a bid to launch affordable vehicle, it has compromised on some real vital features that make the Toyota cars stand class apart.
Toyota Etios Liva is spacious hatchback which looks lively and graceful on the exterior. However, the story reverts when it is checked in from the inside. I recently took a closer look of its VX petrol variant and deciphered that this car won’t stand a chance in tough competition of its segment.
Its 1197cc, 1.2L, 3NR-FE petrol engine is really a beast in performance. It oozes out maximum power of 80PS and delivers a mileage of up to 14 kmpl in the city. But as I said, when you see the interiors, the whole scenario becomes dismal for you. The interiors are made from poor quality material. Toyota would have given some simple things like a rear wiper, clock or tachometer in this car but they are all are missing from the features list. AC does not have climate control. There is plastic all around. It would have been great if some cool gadgets were there inside to play with. But alas, all expectation goes into vain. The interiors are luster-less and do not appeal.
Liva is functional, spacious, cheap but not luxurious inside. If luxury is required, surely don’t go for Toyota Etios Liva.
