Volkswagen Vento a perfect classy sedan
Pros : Good appearance, comfortable interiors
Cons : Lack of ABS and airbags
I am a property dealer residing in Delhi and have to commute a lot within NCR region to show land or flats to clients. In my profession it is extremely necessary to own a car that looks expensive and classy too. I had a Maruti Swift earlier and was looking to buy a sedan for a longtime, I still have Swift since I love that car too, the only thing is that it is now being used by my daughter. Volkswagen is a brand known for making luxury cars and it does not compromise on the quality of the car, Vento was on my mind ever since it entered India.
My cousin brother also has this car and was happy with its performance; I also drove Vento some time back before buying it. I was so impressed with the sedan that there was no confusion regarding purchasing this car. It has been three moths only since I bought this car, diesel version was a clear option as petrol prices are too high now. One of the reasons that I was looking for a diesel sedan was a lot of money was being spent every month on petrol. Volkswagen Vento apart from possessing killer looks has a 1598cc, 1.6 litre, four cylinder in line DOHC engine with a peak power of 105 PS at 4400 Rpm and a maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1500-2500 Rpm. Mated to a manual transmission, the engine proffers a fuel economy of 15.5 kmpl in city conditions and 20.5 kmpl of fuel economy on highway. However safety features like ABS, airbags are not present in the sedan, but when you drive on the road it definitely turns a lot of head that makes you feel good.
