2014 Mercedes Benz C Class spotted under winter testing!

The much awaited new generation model of Mercedes Benz C Class was recently spotted under winter testing in Sweden. The car will be rolled-out in a number of body styles including wagon, sedan, convertible and coupe. However, the launch of the sedan version of the car, which is expected to be launched in the Indian market as well, will take approximately two year to be launched in global market.

However, as the car was fully covered in camouflaging, the upgrades at the exterior front were not visible during the test. It is expected that the new generation Mercedes Benz C Class model will be carrying a major facelift along with a number of upgrades inside.

At present, the Mercedes Benz C Class is available in the price segment of Rs 25,75,499 - Rs 69,90,000, in both petrol and diesel versions. The C Class model is competing with the likes of BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 in India.

The engine options of the 2014 Mercedes Benz C Class model  will be kept same as before and the only edition in this segment will be entry of a highly fuel efficient hybrid engine with a 27 PS electric motor. The current model of the Mercedes Benz C Class is available in two engine types including 1796cc, 186 hp petrol engine and a 2143cc, 204 hp and a 6208cc, 457 hp engine for the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG model.
