Ford India brings in a new variant of Fiesta at the price of Rs. 7.23 lakh

Ford India has stunned the auto-market by curtailing down the price of Ford Fiesta by Rs. 1 lakh. With the slashed price, the Fiesta now starts at the price tag of Rs. 7.23 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). Apart from this, the company has also done the adjustments in the entire Fiesta line-up. The new Ford Fiesta has got six models available i.e., two diesel and four petrol in-line models that include two dual clutch automatic transmission variants which were launched last month. Undoubtedly, the low revised price of the Fiesta would for sure enable it to give a competitive edge against other mid-size sedans like Hyundai Verna Fluidic, Honda City, Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento.

The changed line-up of Fiesta petrol models now include; Fiesta Ambiente, Fiesta Style AT, Fiesta Titanium Plus and Fiesta Titanium Plus AT, on the other hand, the diesel engine models have got manual transmission installed which include; Ford Fiesta Style Diesel and Ford Fiesta Titanium Plus Diesel. Now, you won’t find the Fiesta Trend and the Fiesta Titanium models in the Fiesta fleet. Furthermore, the Fiesta Trend Diesel and Fiesta Titanium Diesel are also no more existing in the diesel line-up.

It seems that the company has curtailed down the price of Fiesta due to lot of buyers complaining its exceeding cost compared to its rivals. With a heavy price slash of Fiesta, the company is expecting to get fabulous response from the enthusiasts. The amazing fact is that the new Fiesta with a curtailed price too has got features like Dual Airbags, ABS etc. Also, the entry level variant is blessed with driver adjustable seat and many other exciting features.

With the revised price, the Ford Fiesta is now available at the following prices: the base variant Fiesta Petrol Ambiente available at Rs 7.23 lakh, whereas, the Fiesta Titanium Plus is available at Rs 8.80 lakh. The base AT variant, Fiesta Style AT is offered at the price of Rs. 8.99 lakh, while, the top end AT variant Fiesta Titanium Plus AT is available at the price of Rs 9.70 lakh. On the other hand, the diesel base variant Fiesta Style is tagged at Rs 8.99 lakh, whereas, the top end diesel variant Fiesta Titanium Plus is available at Rs 9.90 lakh.
