The domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra has finally initiated the deliveries of the second batch of the BE 6 Batman Edition in India. With this move, the carmaker has also confirmed that it will not manufacture more units of the Edition. This marks the total of 1994 units of the BE6 Batman Edition.

 

 

The announcement regarding this was made through the official social media platforms of the company. According to the social media sources, this is the second batch of 999 units will be the last. This decision was taken to address concerns raised by early buyers and to preserve the exclusivity of the model. The controversy began when the BE 6 company announced plans to introduce a second batch of the BE 6 Batman Edition. The company sold the first batch of the Batman Edition in 135 seconds, indicating the company’s strong position in launching limited editions of its popular models. Additional expenses such as registration (RTO) charges, insurance costs, accessories, loan foreclosure penalties, and paint protection films would not be reimbursed. This led to further dissatisfaction, with many owners stating they would still incur financial losses despite opting for the buyback. Some even described the scheme as inadequate and contrary to the brand’s promise of exclusivity.

 

 

The BE 6 Batman Edition gained immense popularity due to its unique collaboration with Warner Bros. and inspiration drawn from The Dark Knight Trilogy.
