New variant of Chevrolet Cruze rolled out

In UK, Chevrolet has rolled out an absolutely new variant of the popular Chevrolet Cruze sedan. This one differs from the standard Cruze in terms of the embedded engine. The new variant shall flaunt a smaller engine capable of delivering much less power. Despite of its incapability to ooze lesser power almost by 20PS (as against 2.2L engine), the 1.7 litre VDCi diesel engine remains very thrifty and churns out peak power of almost 130 PS and maximum torque of 300Nm. It also delivers excellent performance by accelerating speedily from 0-100 kmph within just 9.4 seconds and touching the highest speed of 200kmph.

The new variant will share its 4-cylinder, VCDi turbo diesel engine clocked at 1.7 litres with another upcoming car from GM, the Chevrolet Cruze Wagon.

It is quite evident that Chevrolet is attempting to cash on its popular car Chevrolet Cruze to increase profits and keeping the customers happy. The new and extensive line up of cars like Cruze is their first and definitive step to accomplish this goal. Refurbishing the existent variant will make it more appealing to the UK customer base of Chevrolet and will also enhance the profit figures of the firm in one of its largest business zones. The launch of Cruze hatchback and Cruze Wagon by the year end will also serve the same purpose.
