Honda Launches Elevate Apex Summer Edition at Rs 12.39 Lakh to Boost Sales
May 6, 2025: Honda Cars India the Indian alliance of the Japanese carmaker Honda Motors has launched the Elevate Apex Summer Edition at 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom), priced Rs 32,000 lower than the standard V trim. The special edition comes with additional including dual-tone interiors, leatherette seats, ambient lighting, and a 360-degree camera. Under the hood, it continues with the existing 1.5L petrol engine. With the special edition, the carmaker expects to witness growth in sales, which declined in April 2025. The special edition is designed to attract buyers looking for a premium feel at a competitive price. It targets rivals like the Grand Vitara, Hyryder, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Creta.
India-Built Honda Elevate Gets 5-Star Rating in Japan NCAP Test
April 17, 2025: The made-in-India Honda Elevate compact SUV has got a five-star score in the Japan NCAP test conducted recently. According to reports, the compact SUV received A-Star ratings in all the tests, making it a proud moment for India’s manufacturing efficiencies. Elevate is being exported from the company’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, India. In the Japanese car market, it is sold as WR-V and is one of the best-selling vehicles in the country.
Honda Elevate SUV Surpasses 30,000 Sales in India
March 26, 2024: Honda's Elevate SUV has reached a notable milestone, selling over 30,000 units since its launch last September. Competing with popular rivals like Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta, Elevate has carved a strong presence in the Indian SUV market. Powered by a 1.5-liter engine, it offers manual and automatic transmission options. Honda plans to introduce an all-electric variant soon. Available in four variants, Elevate's price ranges from ₹11.58 lakh to ₹16.20 lakh. Honda's export of Elevate to Japan, rebranded as 'WR-V', marks a significant expansion strategy, showcasing the company's commitment to global growth.
Honda Elevate Debuts In Indian Car Market
September 4, 2023: Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has launched the new compact SUV Elevate in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh for the base variant. The top-end variant is priced at Rs 15.99 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom prices. The Elevate receives power from a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated i-VTEC engine that generates the power of 121 PS and a torque of 145Nm. The transmission duties will be performed by a six-speed manual gearbox or with a seven-speed CVT automatic transmission system.
