May 26, 2014: Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has recalled 2347 units of SUV Santa Fe being sold in Indian car market. The units recalled were sold between 2011 and 2013. According to reports the units were suffering from the problem of defective brake lamp switch which might create problem and may cause an accident, however so far no accident has take place due to such issue. The Korean car maker has asked its dealers to replace the defective part free of cost and is intimating the buyers of SUV during the determined period.

 

 

February 5, 2013: Hyundai Motors India Limited has launched the generation next Hyundai Santa Fe in Indian Auto Expo with price tag of Rs. 26, 30,000 for base model. The new Santa Fe is introduced with huge fleet of various remarkable features to provide complete luxurious experience to passengers. It is powered with 3rd Generation 2.2L CRDi engine equipped with e-VGT turbocharger. This engine is based on company’s R series engine concept and develops the power of 197 PS at 3,800 rpm and torque of 42.9 kgm at rpm from 1800 to 2500. It will deliver an average of 14.74 kmpl (MT-ARAI certified) and 13.01kmpl (AT-ARAI certified).
