Refreshed Hyundai Verna Priced Rs 10.98 Lakh (ex-showroom)
The Korean carmaker Hyundai has launched refreshed Verna sedan in the Indian car market with minor design tweaks and a host of new features to give it a refreshed feel. The facelift Verna 2026 is offered with a starting price of Rs 10.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model retains the strengths of the existing version while adding several enhancements to keep it competitive in its segment. It continues to be available with two petrol engine options, each paired with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Hyundai Verna Looks
On the exterior end the Hyundai Verna continues to come with same design philosophy with minor changes. At the front fascia, the signature connected LED DRL strip stretching across the nose remains unchanged. However, the headlamp unit now features a cleaner housing for the LED projector headlamps, LED turn indicators, and LED fog lamps. The all-black grille has been slightly enlarged, while the front bumper gets minor revisions to complement the updated look.
As far as other exterior features are concerned, the Verna maintains its sleek sedan silhouette with a long wheelbase and a mildly coupe-inspired roofline. It rides on 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels that now feature a slightly revised design. At the rear, the sedan continues with the connected LED tail lamps, a boot-lid mounted spoiler, and bold “Verna” lettering across the boot lid, giving the car a wide and contemporary stance. The facelift also introduces a faux diffuser with a silver insert on the rear bumper to add a sportier visual touch.
With this update, the Verna’s length has increased by 30 mm, while the other dimensions remain unchanged.The 2026 Verna also introduces two new colour options: Classy Blue and Titan Grey with a matte finish. These join the existing shades of Starry Night, Titan Grey, Atlas White, and Titanium Black. A dual-tone paint scheme with a black roof is also available, though it is limited to the Atlas White exterior colour. While the updates are relatively minor, they give the Verna a refreshed appearance without dramatically altering its overall design.
Inside the cabin, the 2026 Verna continues with a black-and-white cabin treatment. The interior maintains its modern and minimalistic look with clean lines and premium touches. One notable change is the new steering wheel featuring Hyundai’s Morse code logo, aligning the Verna with the brand’s latest design language seen in newer models like the Hyundai Venue. The Verna also benefits from a spacious cabin thanks to its 2,670 mm wheelbase, which provides ample legroom for rear passengers. The seats remain comfortable, and the cabin layout focuses on practicality and ease of use. The use of lighter shades inside the cabin further enhances the sense of space and openness.
Additional Interior Features
The Verna facelift introduces a few additional convenience features while retaining its already extensive equipment list. New additions include a memory function for the 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, a powered tailgate, and sunshades for the rear windows. These updates improve overall comfort and convenience. Other highlights include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (via a wired-to-wireless adapter), and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. The sedan also offers ventilated front seats, a single-pane electric sunroof, multi-colour ambient lighting, and an 8-speaker BOSE sound system. Additional features such as automatic climate control with rear AC vents and a wireless phone charger further enhance the in-cabin experience, making the Verna one of the most feature-packed sedans in its class.
Boot Space
The Verna continues to offer a generous 528-litre boot, making it one of the more practical options in the segment. The large luggage compartment can comfortably accommodate multiple suitcases and travel bags, making it well suited for family trips and long journeys.

The naturally aspirated engine is smooth and efficient, ideal for everyday driving, while the turbo-petrol engine delivers stronger performance for buyers who enjoy spirited driving. Notably, the turbo-petrol engine is offered only with the top two variants, and the top-spec HX10 trim is available exclusively with automatic gearbox options.
Safety has been further improved with this facelift. The sedan now comes with seven airbags including a new side centre airbag for the driver. The update also introduces new safety additions, such as a 360-degree camera with a blind-spot monitor and a built-in dashcam, enhancing overall visibility for the driver and safety.
In addition to these updates, the Verna continues with essential safety features including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and front and rear parking sensors. The sedan also offers Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which brings features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and forward collision warning to improve safety and convenience during everyday driving.
