July 9, 2014: Domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra has recalled 23519 units of Scorpio EX due to defect pressure valve. According to sources of Mahindra & Mahindra the problem of defective air pressure valve has arisen in EX variant of SUV which were manufactured between May 2012 to November 2013 and not on other variants of  Scorpio.

Special Edition of Scorpio re-launched

May 5, 2014: Mahindra and Mahindra has re-launched the Special Edition of Scorpio in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 11.88 lakh. The changes offered in Special Edition were not witnessed in Special Edition of Scorpio which was launched in October 2013. According to sources of company only 500 units of the Special Edition would be sold out in market.  The Special Edition will continue the existing engine configuration of 2.2 litre four cylinder mHawk diesel engine churning the power of 120 bhp and torque of 290 Nm.
